When you first open the app, it will ask to use your location. By choosing "Allow", the app will then be able to look up the conditions in your current location. It then establishes a data connection to quickly download the latest condition information for your current location. It does this by using the built in location based services.

Use the "Refresh" button to go out and get the latest condition information and hit the "US-SI" button to switch between English and metric units. You will know which mode you are in by noting the small "F" or "C" in the temperature display window.

Note: you will need an internet/data connection for the app to refresh the conditions. Additionally, you will need to choose "Allow" for the app to do the lookup for your existing location.
